Funoshino Taki Falls (Kawabe-town)

Funoshino Taki Falls is formed by three stages.
A long time ago, there was a run of salmon swimming up these falls.
Once, the villagers caught many salmon by using a farm implement called a “Mokko”.
These falls were formerly called “Mokko Taki” Falls.
Their feminine, fragile beauty creates a solemn atomosphere.
There is no end to the number of artists who have a camera or sketchbook in spring and summer. In winter, Funoshi no Taki Falls is reminded in ink drawings.
