Choshi-ohtaki Falls (Towadako-town)
|
|
It comes from Lake Towada, and the only
waterfall that leads into Oirase Stream.
It is 7 meters high and 20 meters wide and
very dynamic. A 2 hour and 10 minute walk
down the path from Ishigedo takes you to
the fall. If you take the path from Nenokuchi,
it takes 30 minutes. You can drive close
to the waterfall as well, but walking is
highly recommended. It has had a nickname
“fish stopper” from old times, because its
abundant water and its height keeps fish
